This week is Children's Mental Health Week. 

In Year 5 we discussed what mental health and how different things can effect our mental health, before looking at the theme for this year's mental health week, which is Let's Connect.

We talked about the different ways we can connect with one another and how these connections can be good for our mental health.

In addition to this, on Tuesday it was Safer Internet Day. The theme for this years event was Want to Talk About It?
The children explored how we use the internet to contact others through social media and apps. We then looked at messages that could be sent through the internet and whether or not these were appropriate or not. The children demonstrated a mature attitude and really delved into how they would feel in that situation, which was great to see!
