Welcome to Our Lady’s School Allotment!
We are very excited to introduce Our Lady’s School Allotment, a special place where children from year 4 and 5 are getting their hands dirty and learning how to grow their own food!
This year, our young gardeners are busy planting and caring for a delicious range of vegetables, including carrots, spring onions, beetroot, radishes, potatoes, courgettes, and tomatoes. The allotment is a wonderful space where pupils can explore nature, learn about healthy eating, and see how food grows from seed to harvest.
Everyone is working together to water the plants, pull out weeds, and watch for changes as the vegetables grow. We can’t wait to see (and taste!) the results of all their hard work later in the year.
Well done to all the children involved – your allotment is blooming beautifully!
Our vegetables are growing really well!! We can't wait to continue to watch them grow.
