To evaluate the strategies we have implemented to increase the school’s biodiversity, the Eco- Committee completed a final biodiversity audit.
They went into the forest school and onto the field to record all of the living things that they could see and recorded on the audit sheet that was used by Year 2 to complete the initial audit.
As you can see, we have significantly increased the biodiversity of the school grounds and we have so many more living things in our grounds than when we started the Eco Schools award at the start of the year.
